Hartford Whalers: From Heartbeat to Heartbreak

"Hartford Whalers: From Heartbeat to Heartbreak" is a documentary about how memorable it can be when a professional hockey team finds its perfect place in a loving community.

For this project, I was credited as an executive producer. I filmed interviews with former NHL players, the founder and former owner of the Hartford Whalers hockey team, current NHL executives, as well as their family members. I also interviewed the Whalers Booster Club, fans of the defunct hockey team in Connecticut. I also served as the editor of this project.

The project was nominated for multiple awards, including an Emmy award. It is currently streaming on NBC Connecticut’s app and online.
